A quick and flavorful dish combining tender chicken, fragrant garlic butter, and fluffy rice for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 4 pieces boneless chicken breasts or thighs (Choose boneless for quick cooking and tender bites.)
  • 4 cloves garlic (Freshly minced to maximize flavor.)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter (The rich base for the sauce.)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (Helps brown the chicken.)
  • 1 tsp salt (For seasoning.)
  • 1 tsp black pepper (For seasoning.)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (Adds color and zest.)
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice (Fluffy and light.)
  • 2 cups chicken broth (Cooking liquid.)
  • 1 pinch salt (To season the rice.)

Instructions 

  • Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook in olive oil until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same pan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  • Add cooked chicken back to the pan, toss to coat with garlic butter, and garnish with chopped parsley.
  • Meanwhile, cook rice in chicken broth with a pinch of salt until fluffy.
  • Serve the garlic butter chicken over rice, garnished with additional parsley if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes.
