Instructions
Activate the yeast: Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 5-10 mins until foamy.
Mix the dough: Combine flour and salt. Add yeast mixture and olive oil. Stir until shaggy.
Knead the dough: Knead on floured surface for 8-10 mins until smooth.
First rise: Place in greased bowl, cover, and let rise 1-1.5 hrs until doubled.
Shape and second rise: Punch down, shape, and let rise 30-45 mins. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Bake: Bake 30-40 mins until golden. Cool on wire rack before slicing.
