These delicious and healthy date energy balls are perfect for a quick snack, combining wholesome ingredients with a touch of chocolate.

Ingredients

Dried Fruits & Nuts

  • 1 cup Oat Flour (Use gluten-free oat flour for a gluten-free option.)
  • 1 cup Walnuts (Toasting enhances flavor and crunch.)
  • 1/2 cup Almond Butter (Can substitute with peanut butter.)
  • 1 cup Dates (Medjool dates preferred.)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract (Optional.)
  • 1 pinch Salt (Enhances overall flavor.)
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon (Optional.)
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips (Use semi-sweet mini chips.)
  • 1-2 tablespoons Water (Add sparingly to adjust consistency.)

Instructions 

  • In a food processor, blend the dates until they form a sticky paste.
  • Add oat flour, toasted walnuts, vanilla extract, salt, and cinnamon to the dates. Pulse until combined.
  • Stir in chocolate chips and add water gradually until the mixture is sticky but manageable.
  • Roll the mixture into 12 small balls and place on a baking sheet.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
