Ingredients

Dough

  • 500 g bread flour
  • 40 g sugar
  • 1.5 tsps instant yeast
  • 225 g cold water
  • 115 g cold milk
  • 9 g sea salt
  • 25 g unsalted butter

Instructions 

  • Mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a bowl.
  • Add cold water and milk; mix to form dough.
  • Knead until smooth, then let rise for 2 hours.
  • Punch down, shape, and let rise for 1 hour.
  • Preheat oven to 180°C, brush with melted butter, and bake for 35 minutes.
  • Cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
