A simple and flavorful focaccia recipe that requires no kneading, perfect for a quick homemade bread with garlic and herbs.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 cups warm water (about 110°F/43°C)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil (plus extra for drizzling)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary (chopped or dried)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)

Sea salt

Instructions 

  • Mix flour, yeast, and salt. Add water and olive oil; stir until shaggy dough forms.
  • Let dough rise at room temperature for 2 hours, covered.
  • Transfer dough to greased pan, stretch to fit, and let rise for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Dimple the dough, add garlic, rosemary, sea salt, and drizzle with olive oil.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Cool before slicing.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle additional herbs or sea salt before baking.
