Ingredients

Flours

  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour (see notes for substitution)
  • 3/4 cup whole-wheat flour (see notes for substitution)

Seeds

  • 1/2 cup toasted sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup toasted pumpkin seeds
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp black sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/4 cups buttermilk (room temperature)
  • 1 large egg (room temperature)
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 tbsp black sesame seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp toasted sunflower seeds
  • 1 tbsp toasted pumpkin seeds

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven at 350ºF (175ºC), without fan. Butter and line a 5x9 inch (13x23 cm) loaf pan. Set aside.
