Prepared white sauce
Caramelized onion topping
Instructions
Roast butternut squash and garlic until tender, then mash roasted garlic.
Prepare white sauce by whisking flour and butter, then gradually add milk and mashed garlic, season with salt and pepper.
Sauté onions with olive oil and maple syrup until caramelized.
Roll out pizza dough, spread white sauce, then top with roasted butternut squash, caramelized onions, spinach, goat cheese, and rosemary.
Bake pizza at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes until crust is golden.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a drizzle of honey or balsamic glaze before serving.
