Ingredients

Fruits and Spices

  • 6 pieces Bartlett Pears (peeled, cored & sliced into 1/4 inch slices)
  • 1/3 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Nutmeg powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 1/2 tsp Clove powder
  • 1 tsp Ginger powder
  • 1/3 cup Granulated sugar (optional)
  • 1 recipe Pie crust
  • 1 small Egg yolk (whisked)
  • 1 tbsp Milk
  • 1 tbsp Unsalted butter

Instructions 

  • Make the pie crust and chill in the fridge.
