A delicious and moist fig bread infused with warm spices and crunchy walnuts, perfect for breakfast or a snack.
Ingredients
Dry ingredients

all-purpose flour
(plus extra for dusting)

granulated sugar

baking soda

baking powder

tsp
ground cloves
½
tsp
freshly ground nutmeg

ground cardamom

tsp
cinnamon powder

Add-ins

chopped walnuts
(or pecans)

vegetable oil

whole milk

fresh figs
(chopped)

(for greasing the pan)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350℉ (175℃).
Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl. Crush walnuts and fold in.
Whisk wet ingredients with chopped figs in a medium bowl. Combine with dry mixture.
Pour batter into a greased pan and bake for 45-60 minutes until golden brown.
Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan. Cool completely before slicing.
