Delicious and fudgy brownies made with ripe bananas and almond butter, perfect for a gluten-free treat.

Ingredients

Bananas

  • 2 large overripe large peeled bananas (each about 115 grams when peeled)
  • 3/4 cup creamy unsweetened almond butter
  • 1 large large egg
  • 1/2 cup granulated white sugar
  • 1/4 + 1 tbsp unsweetened dutch process cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 cup chopped dark chocolate

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8 inch pan with parchment paper.
  • Add all ingredients except chopped chocolate to blender and blend until smooth.
  • Pour batter into prepared pan and sprinkle chopped chocolate on top.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until set but fudgy inside.
  • Cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

For extra fudginess, bake around 20-22 minutes.
