A deliciously cheesy and garlicky pull-apart bread perfect for sharing. Easy to make from scratch with flavorful cheeses and herbs.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 ½ teaspoons kosher salt
  • ¾ cup whole milk (warmed 105°F to 115°F)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 tablespoon garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon parsley (chopped, plus extra for garnish)
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • ½ cup sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter (melted)

Garnish

Instructions 

  • Mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast; let sit until frothy.
  • Add flour, salt, softened butter; knead into a smooth dough. Let rise until doubled.
  • Roll out dough, spread garlic, parsley, and shredded cheeses. Cut into pieces and layer in a baking dish.
  • Brush with melted butter, sprinkle with extra parsley and salt. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes.
  • Garnish with additional parsley and salt before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes or herbs.
