Wet ingredients

vegetable oil (or melted coconut oil)

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment and grease.
Mix flaxseed meal with water; let sit 5 minutes until gelatinous.
Combine dry ingredients; whisk well. Mix wet ingredients; then combine with dry. Fold in chocolate chips and optional add-ins.
Pour batter into pan, sprinkle sea salt if desired, and bake 25-30 minutes. Cool completely before slicing.
Notes
For extra fudginess, slightly underbake and let cool in the pan.
