Garlic Butter Dinner Rolls

Soft, fluffy dinner rolls infused with garlic and parsley, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 220 ml warm milk (whole or skimmed)
  • 1.5 tsp sugar
  • 7 g active dry yeast
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 400 g bread flour (or all purpose flour)
  • 1 egg for brushing
  • 1 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions 

  • Combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar; let stand 5 min until bubbly. Add oil, salt, and egg; mix well.
  • Mix liquid into flour; knead until smooth (~8-10 min). Alternatively, use a stand mixer with dough hook for 5 min.
  • Let dough rise in oiled bowl, covered, for 1-1.5 hours until tripled. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  • Divide dough into 16 balls; place in buttered pan, cover, and rise 30 min.
  • Brush with beaten egg; bake 20-25 min until golden. Melt butter with garlic, add parsley.
  • Brush warm rolls with garlic butter before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle with additional parsley or garlic powder.
