Instructions
Warm milk, then combine with sugar and yeast; let sit 7–10 min to activate. Add melted butter, egg, yolk, flour, and salt; knead until smooth. Shape into a ball.
Let dough rise in a greased bowl, covered, until doubled (~1–2 hrs). Roast garlic at 400°F for 30–40 min, cool, then squeeze out cloves.
Pulse roasted garlic to make a paste. Roll out dough, spread with butter, garlic paste, parsley, salt, pepper, and cheese. Roll into a log, cut into 9 pieces, and place in a baking dish. Let rise 1–2 hrs.
Bake at 350°F for 30–35 min until golden. Mix melted butter, parsley, Parmesan, and garlic; brush over rolls. Garnish with extra Parmesan and serve warm.
