This cheesy, garlicky pull-apart bread is perfect for sharing and makes a delicious appetizer or snack. Its golden crust and gooey cheese will have everyone coming back for more!

Ingredients

Dough

  • 1 cup warm water (105-115°F)
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast (one standard packet)
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour (plus more for dusting)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions 

  • Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast; let sit until foamy (5-10 min).
  • Add flour and salt; knead until smooth. Let rise in oiled bowl for 1-1.5 hours.
  • Mix melted butter, garlic, and parsley. Punch down dough, divide into 30-35 balls, coat with garlic butter.
  • Arrange balls in pan, sprinkle with half the cheese, then top with remaining cheese. Let rise 30-45 min.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 30-35 min until golden and bubbly.
  • Cool for 5-10 min, then invert onto a plate and serve warm.

Notes

Ensure the dough is well kneaded for a soft, airy texture. Cover the bread while rising to prevent drying out.
