Ingredients

Meat and Oils

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil (or favorite cooking oil)

Aromatics and Spices

  • 2-3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tsp grated ginger
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp onion powder

Sauces and Sweeteners

  • 3 Tbsp soy sauce (low sodium)
  • 1-2 Tbsp sriracha (adjust to spice preference)
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 3 Tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tsp honey

Vegetables and Garnishes

  • as needed rice, shredded carrots, sliced cucumbers, shelled edamame, pickled onions, avocado, shredded cabbage, sliced green onion, sesame seeds

Other

  • 2 Tbsp corn starch

Instructions 

  • Whisk all bang bang sauce ingredients in a small bowl; chill until ready.
  • Cook ground turkey in sesame oil until browned; add remaining ingredients (except cornstarch) and simmer 2-3 minutes.
  • Thicken mixture with cornstarch, stir in some bang bang sauce if desired, then serve over rice with vegetables and garnish.

Notes

Adjust spice levels with extra sriracha and customize toppings to your preference.
