Ingredients

Protein

  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into 1-inch bite-sized pieces
  • 3 tablespoons honey (raw or organic)
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce or tamari (for gluten-free)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or avocado oil
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch or arrowroot powder (optional for extra crispiness)

Instructions 

  • Cut chicken into 1-inch pieces and pat dry.
  • Toss chicken with oil, salt, pepper, and cornstarch if using.
  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Cook chicken for 10–12 minutes, shaking halfway.
  • Whisk honey, garlic, soy sauce, and vinegar until smooth.
  • Coat cooked chicken with sauce, then return to air fryer for 2 minutes for extra glaze.
  • Serve warm, garnished with green onions or sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

For extra crispiness, toss chicken in cornstarch before cooking.
