Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 1 frozen banana frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/4 cup homemade granola
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (almonds, pecans, walnuts)
  • 1/2 cup seeds (chia, flax, pumpkin)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 2 tablespoons oil or melted coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 160°C. Mix granola ingredients, spread on a baking sheet, and bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway. Cool completely.
  • Blend spinach, frozen banana, and almond milk until smooth.
  • Pour smoothie into a bowl, top with granola and optional toppings. Serve immediately.
