A savory quick bread packed with herbs and sharp cheddar, perfect for a flavorful snack or side.
Ingredients
Dry ingredients

all-purpose flour

baking powder

Wet ingredients

cold unsalted butter (diced)

shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese

cold buttermilk

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
Mix dry ingredients. Grate butter into mixture, then add cheese and herbs.
Whisk together buttermilk and eggs. Combine with dry ingredients gently.
Pour batter into pan, top with reserved cheese and sea salt. Bake 40-50 mins until golden.
Cool slightly before slicing. Enjoy warm.
