A flavorful and aromatic herbed garlic bread perfect as a side dish or appetizer. Easy to prepare and sure to impress!

Ingredients

Bread

  • 1 loaf Italian bread or French baguette
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • to taste Salt Salt
  • to taste Black pepper Freshly ground black pepper

Instructions 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Mix softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  • Slice the bread in half lengthwise.
  • Spread the herbed garlic butter generously on the cut sides of the bread.
  • Bake on a baking sheet for 10-15 minutes until crispy and bubbling.
  • Slice and serve warm immediately.

Notes

Use dried herbs as a substitute if fresh herbs are unavailable. Keep an eye on the bread while baking to prevent burning.
