  • 3 pieces ripe bananas

Dry ingredients

  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 1 cup almond flour (or gluten-free flour)
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 cup maple syrup (or honey, optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  • Mash bananas until smooth in a bowl.
  • Mix cocoa powder, protein powder, almond flour, baking soda, salt, maple syrup, and vanilla until combined.
  • Pour batter into the loaf pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
