Ingredients

Protein

  • 2 pounds chicken breasts (cut into small chunks)
  • 4 pieces chipotle peppers
  • 0.25 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons oil (plus more for cooking)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt (adjust to taste)
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste, optional)
  • 0.25 cup water (as needed)

Vegetables

  • 4 pieces burrito-sized flour tortillas
  • 1 small head romaine lettuce (thinned sliced)
  • 1 small red bell pepper or tomato (deseeded and diced)
  • 1 small red onion (finely diced)
  • to taste mozzarella cheese (shredded)

Sauce

  • to taste chipotle crema sauce

Instructions 

  • Blend chipotle peppers, sour cream, lime juice, honey, oil, garlic, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne until smooth.
  • Marinate chicken with the sauce and refrigerate for 1-2 hours. Bring to room temperature before cooking.
  • Cook chicken in a skillet with oil until fully cooked, adding water if needed to prevent drying. Cool slightly.
  • Mix lettuce, red bell pepper, and red onion. Assemble wraps with sauce, cheese, veggies, and chicken, then fold.
  • Serve immediately or toasted. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, toast the wraps before serving.
