A wholesome homemade bread combining the nutty flavor of whole wheat with the sweetness of honey, baked to golden perfection.
Ingredients
Dough

honey

Instructions
Grease a 9-inch loaf pan and set aside.
Mix water, yeast, and honey; let sit 5 min until foamy.
Add salt, wheat flour, and 2 cups white flour; mix until combined.
Gradually add more white flour until dough pulls away from sides; knead until smooth.
Let dough rise in a warm spot until doubled, about 1 hour; punch down and shape into a loaf.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35-40 min until golden; rub with butter, cool before slicing.
