Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cooked quinoa
  • 1/4 cup blueberries (frozen or fresh)
  • 1/4 cup milk of choice (e.g., rice milk, vegan milk)
  • 1 teaspoon honey (or agave/maple syrup)
  • dash or two ground cinnamon
  • small pinch salt
  • optional sliced almonds (for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Combine quinoa, blueberries, milk, honey, cinnamon, and salt in a small pot. Heat over medium low, stirring occasionally, until heated through.
  • Serve in a bowl and top with sliced almonds if desired. Let cool slightly before eating.
