For the dough:

2tspsugar or honey
1packetactive dry yeast (2 ¼ tsp)
1.25cupswarm water
1tbspvegetable oil

2tspsesame seeds
2tsppoppy seeds
1tspdried garlic
1tspdried onion
0.5tspcoarse salt
Instructions
Mix flour, salt, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Add warm water and oil, then knead until smooth.
Divide dough into 8 pieces, shape into balls, and poke a hole in the center to form bagels.
Boil water with a pinch of salt, then briefly boil each bagel for 1-2 minutes.
