A delightful layered dessert combining creamy ricotta and pineapple with ladyfingers for a refreshing treat.

Ingredients

Dairy

  • 15 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 11 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, divided

Heavy Cream

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream

Fruits

  • 2 cans unsweetened crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 can lemon pie filling
  • 3 packages ladyfingers, split

Instructions 

  • Beat ricotta, cream cheese, sugar, and 1 teaspoon vanilla until fluffy. Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks and fold into mixture.
  • Combine pineapple, pie filling, and remaining vanilla. Layer ladyfingers in a trifle bowl, then add layers of ricotta mixture and pineapple mixture, repeating once.
  • Finish with remaining ricotta and pineapple layers. Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight.

Notes

Chill the trifle well before serving for best flavor.
