Ingredients

Meat and Dairy

  • 1 lb ground breakfast sausage
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions 

  • Cook sausage in a skillet until browned; drain and cool slightly.
  • Mix cream cheese, cheddar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Stir cooked sausage into the cream cheese mixture.
  • Combine mozzarella, eggs, almond flour, and baking powder; microwave and stir until dough forms.
  • Roll dough between parchment into a rectangle, spread sausage mixture, then roll into a log and slice.
  • Bake pinwheels at 375°F (190°C) for 15-18 minutes until golden.
