A flavorful Korean dish featuring marinated beef grilled to perfection, served over rice for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced

Sauces & Oils

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons grated ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang Korean chili paste
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions sliced

For Serving

  • cooked rice cooked rice (for serving)

Instructions 

  • Whisk soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic, and gochujang until combined.
  • Add beef to marinade, stir to coat, cover, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, cook beef in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until charred and cooked through.
  • Remove beef, garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
  • Serve over warm cooked rice.

Notes

Marinate the beef for at least 30 minutes for best flavor.
