A quick and easy lasagna recipe using cottage cheese and minimal effort, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Meat and Sauce

  • 1 Pound Ground Beef (or Turkey) (93/7 lean)
  • 1 Jar Pasta Sauce (24-28 ounces, low sugar)

Noodles

  • 8 Ounces Egg Noodles

Cheese Mixture

  • 4 Cups Cottage Cheese (Fat Free, may use 2 cups depending on brand)
  • 1 Container Greek Yogurt (Plain)
  • ½ Cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 ½ Cups Mozzarella Cheese (Part Skim)

Optional Seasonings

  • to taste Salt, Black Pepper, Herbs, Seasoning (Optional)

Instructions 

  • Brown the meat and drain excess fat.
  • Mix in pasta sauce and optional seasonings; simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Cook and drain egg noodles.
  • Combine cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, Parmesan, mozzarella, and seasonings.
  • Layer noodles, cheese mixture, and sauce in a dish.
  • Bake at 350°F (176°C) for 25 minutes; add mozzarella on top 5-10 minutes before done.
