Ingredients

Protein

  • 32 oz Boneless skinless chicken breasts (or 2 lb chicken thighs)
  • 0.25 cup Olive oil (plus 2 tbsp additional if using stovetop)
  • 1 medium Lemon (zested and juiced; 2 tbsp lemon juice and 1 tsp lemon zest)
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tsp Sea salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper

Instructions 

  • Combine lemon juice, zest, garlic, olive oil, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  • Marinate the chicken in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  • Cook the chicken on stovetop or grill until fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes per side.
  • Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add lemon slices on top before serving.
