Ingredients

Dry ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup quick oats
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Wet ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg egg
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 medium apples (peeled and diced)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
  • Combine wet ingredients in another bowl.
  • Mix wet into dry, then fold in apples.
  • Fill muffin cups 2/3 full and bake for 20 minutes.

Notes

Use fresh apples for best flavor.
