Delight in these rich and buttery maple pecan bars, perfect for a sweet treat or dessert.
Ingredients
For the Crust

all-purpose flour

granulated sugar

cold unsalted butter, cubed
For the Filling

pure maple syrup

packed brown sugar

heavy cream

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch pan.
Mix flour, sugar, and salt; cut in butter until coarse crumbs. Press into pan and bake 15-18 mins.
Combine maple syrup, brown sugar, cream, butter, and salt; boil 1 min. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and pecans.
Pour filling over crust; bake 18-20 mins until bubbly. Cool completely, then refrigerate 2 hours before cutting.
Notes
Chill the bars thoroughly for best texture before serving.
