Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Toast walnuts for 7-8 minutes, then cool.
Mix dry ingredients. Beat sugar and melted butter, then add eggs, maple syrup, milk, and extracts.
Alternate adding wet and dry ingredients; fold in 1 cup toasted walnuts. Fill muffin liners.
Prepare streusel topping and sprinkle over muffins. Bake at 400°F for 5 min, then reduce to 375°F and bake 16-17 min.
Mix glaze ingredients. Cool muffins completely, then drizzle glaze on top.
Notes
For best flavor, toast walnuts beforehand and ensure muffins are fully cooled before glazing.
