This cheesy pull-apart bread combines gooey mozzarella and flavorful pesto on a sturdy sourdough base, perfect for a quick and satisfying snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
Bread
1loafRound Sourdough Bread(This sturdy loaf provides the perfect base for the gooey cheese and pesto without falling apart.)
1jarPrepared Pesto(6-8 oz. jar, feel free to make homemade for a fresh twist.)
8oz.Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1sprayNonstick Cooking Spray(Ensures easy removal from the pan and a perfectly cooked crust.)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Spray the bread with nonstick cooking spray and cut it into a grid pattern, being careful not to cut all the way through the bottom.
Spread pesto generously between the cuts and over the top of the bread.
Stuff shredded mozzarella into the cuts and on top of the bread.
Wrap the bread in foil and bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes to crisp the crust.
Serve warm and enjoy!
