This cheesy pull-apart bread combines gooey mozzarella and flavorful pesto on a sturdy sourdough base, perfect for a quick and satisfying snack or appetizer.

Ingredients

Bread

  • 1 loaf Round Sourdough Bread (This sturdy loaf provides the perfect base for the gooey cheese and pesto without falling apart.)
  • 1 jar Prepared Pesto (6-8 oz. jar, feel free to make homemade for a fresh twist.)
  • 8 oz. Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 spray Nonstick Cooking Spray (Ensures easy removal from the pan and a perfectly cooked crust.)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Spray the bread with nonstick cooking spray and cut it into a grid pattern, being careful not to cut all the way through the bottom.
  • Spread pesto generously between the cuts and over the top of the bread.
  • Stuff shredded mozzarella into the cuts and on top of the bread.
  • Wrap the bread in foil and bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes to crisp the crust.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes
