A quick and protein-packed microwave bread pudding perfect for a satisfying snack or breakfast.

Ingredients

Bread

  • 2 pieces Bread (Hawaiian Rolls)
  • 0.5 cup Milk (or Milk Substitute)
  • 1 scoop Protein Powder (Vanilla flavor recommended)
  • 1 tablespoon Sweetener (Optional if protein powder is sweet)
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 large Whole Egg
  • 1 tablespoon Butter (Melted)
  • to taste pinch Nutmeg (For topping)

Instructions 

  • Mix Milk and Protein Powder in a small bowl or shaker.
  • Add remaining ingredients (except Bread) and mix well.
  • Cut bread into small pieces and place in a microwave-safe bowl.
  • Pour the mixture over bread, pressing down to submerge.
  • Top with Nutmeg and microwave for 1.5 to 2 minutes.
  • Enjoy immediately or chill for a cold treat.
