Delightful mini tarts featuring flaky puff pastry, sweet apples, and warm cinnamon, finished with a glossy apricot glaze.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry (thawed)

Filling

  • 2 small granny smith apples
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter (diced)
  • 0.25 cup apricot jelly
  • 1 tbsp water

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare puff pastry and cut into 4 squares.
  • Peel, core, and slice apples into ¼-inch slices. Keep slices covered to prevent browning.
  • Arrange apple slices diagonally on pastry, overlapping, with two slices on each side.
  • Mix sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over apples and dot with diced butter. Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden.
  • Heat apricot jelly with water, brush over cooled tarts for a glossy finish. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

For a shinier glaze, brush with additional warm jelly before serving.
