A rich and fudgy brownie infused with coffee and topped with crunchy walnuts, perfect for chocolate lovers.

Ingredients

Dry ingredients

  • 1/4 cup All purpose flour/maida
  • 70 grams dark chocolate
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp coffee powder (optional)

Wet ingredients

  • 50 grams butter
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 small eggs (or 1 large egg)
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

Walnuts

  • 70 grams crushed walnuts (half in batter, half on top)

Instructions 

  • Melt butter and dark chocolate, then let cool.
  • Cream eggs and sugar until fluffy, then add vanilla, coffee, and cocoa powder.
  • Mix in the melted chocolate and butter into the egg mixture.
  • Fold in the flour and half of the walnuts, then pour into a lined tin.
  • Sprinkle remaining walnuts on top and bake at 170°C for 20 minutes.

Notes

For a richer flavor, add an extra teaspoon of coffee powder.
