Ingredients

Dry ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Wet ingredients

  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 egg egg
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Cheese

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
  • Whisk buttermilk and egg, then add melted butter.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients gently, then fold in cheeses.
  • Pour batter into a lined loaf pan and bake for 60 minutes.
