A hearty and simple one-pan dish combining tender beef, sliced potatoes, and flavorful herbs, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
Meat

ground beef or thinly sliced beef strips
Vegetables
4
large potatoes
potatoes, peeled and sliced into thin rounds
1
large
onion, chopped
3
cloves
garlic, minced
Liquids & Oils

beef broth or stock
2
tablespoons
olive oil
Spices & Herbs

teaspoon
paprika
1
teaspoon
dried thyme or rosemary
to taste
Salt and black pepper
Optional Toppings
as needed
shredded cheese, parsley for garnish
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Sauté onion and garlic in 1 tbsp olive oil until fragrant. Add beef, season, cook until browned. Transfer to a plate.
In the same skillet, layer sliced potatoes, season, then spread beef mixture over them.
Pour beef broth over layers, cover, and bake for 45-50 minutes until potatoes are tender.
Remove cover, add cheese if desired, bake uncovered for 10 minutes until melted. Garnish with parsley and serve.
Notes
For extra flavor, add herbs or spices of your choice.
