creamy peanut butter
(Divide ⅔ for batter, ⅓ cup for swirls)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x9 inch pan with parchment paper and spray with nonstick spray.
Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and chocolate chips. In a separate bowl, combine melted butter, sugars, eggs, vanilla, and salt.
Stir dry ingredients into wet, then spread half of batter into the pan. Dollop ⅔ cup peanut butter on top, then spread remaining batter over.
Warm ⅓ cup peanut butter briefly, drizzle over batter, and swirl with a knife. Bake for 30 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
Cool completely at room temperature for 2 hours, then cut into 16 slices and serve.
Notes
For cleaner swirls, heat peanut butter slightly before drizzling.
