A delicious and easy homemade snack bar packed with oats, peanut butter, and optional add-ins for a customizable treat.
Ingredients
Oats

old-fashioned rolled oats

cup
creamy peanut butter

honey

unsalted butter

brown sugar

teaspoon
vanilla extract

salt

chopped peanuts

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper.
Mix oats, salt, and optional add-ins in a large bowl.
Heat peanut butter, honey, butter, and brown sugar until smooth; stir in vanilla.
Pour mixture over oats and stir to coat evenly.
Press mixture into prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
Cool for at least one hour, then cut into bars.
Notes
Press the mixture firmly into the pan for best bars.
