A deliciously sweet and crunchy treat combining popcorn and pecans coated in caramel, perfect for snacking or sharing.

Ingredients

  • 8 cups unsalted (unflavored popcorn, popped)
  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar (firmly packed)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C).
  • Mix popcorn and pecans; set aside.
  • Cook brown sugar, butter, and corn syrup until boiling; remove from heat and add vanilla and baking soda.
  • Pour caramel over popcorn and pecans; stir to coat evenly.
  • Spread on a baking sheet; bake for 30-40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
  • Cool on parchment; break into clusters before serving.

Notes

Stir every 10 minutes during baking for even coating.
