A delicious and nutritious way to start your day, these protein baked oats are easy to prepare and packed with flavor.

Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup low fat cottage cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375 F and prepare a 9x9 inch baking pan.
  • Mix dry ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
  • Blend wet ingredients until smooth.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients and mix well.
  • Pour batter into the pan and flatten.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until set and golden brown.

Notes

Allow to cool for 10 minutes before slicing for best results.
