Ingredients

honey or maple syrup

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8-inch pan.
Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Whisk wet ingredients separately.
Combine wet and dry mixtures; fold in chocolate chips if using.
Pour batter into pan; bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack. Cut into squares and serve.
