very hot or boiling water
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare pan.
Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Whisk wet ingredients in a separate bowl.
Combine wet and dry, then transfer to pan. Mix topping ingredients and sprinkle over batter.
Pour hot water evenly over the batter and bake for 40 minutes. Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Place the pan on a baking sheet to prevent overflow. Cover with foil if top browns too quickly.
