Ingredients

Bread

  • 2 slices rustic sourdough bread

  • 1 cup fresh ricotta cheese

  • 2 medium Granny Smith apples (sliced)

  • 2 tbsp raw honey (plus more for drizzling)

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Toss apple slices with olive oil, honey, and cinnamon. Roast for 15-20 minutes.
  • Slice bread, brush with olive oil, and toast for 5-7 minutes.
  • Spread ricotta on toasted bread and top with roasted apples.
  • Drizzle with honey before serving.

Notes

Use ripe apples for sweeter flavor.
