Instructions
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
In a blender, combine eggs, milk, flour, vanilla, sugar, and salt; blend until smooth.
Melt butter in a 10-inch ovenproof skillet, then pour batter into skillet.
Arrange apple slices on top, sprinkle with cinnamon, and bake for 20 minutes until puffed and golden.
Meanwhile, prepare caramel sauce by melting butter and brown sugar, then adding cream, vanilla, and sea salt; simmer until thickened.
Serve Dutch baby drizzled with caramel, garnished with pecans and dusted with powdered sugar if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, toast the pecans before garnishing.
