Salted Caramel Brownie {with Almond Flour}

A rich and gooey salted caramel brownie made with almond flour, perfect for a gluten-free treat.

Ingredients

Chocolate

  • 1 cup Chocolate chips or chopped chocolate bars (*)

Dry ingredients

  • 1/3 cup Maple Syrup
  • 2 eggs Eggs
  • 1/3 cup Ghee (or Coconut oil) ((melted))
  • 1/4 cup Cacao Powder
  • 1/2 - 1 tsp Sea salt (divided) (for batter and sprinkle on top)
  • 1/4 tsp Baking soda (*)
  • 5 - 6 tbsp Caramel Sauce

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Melt chocolate in a pot or microwave.
  • Mix eggs, maple syrup, and ghee. Combine with melted chocolate.
  • Whisk almond flour, cacao powder, 1/4 tsp salt, and baking soda. Fold into chocolate mixture.
  • Swirl in 2-3 tbsp caramel sauce, pour into a greased 8x8 pan, add more caramel and sprinkle salt on top.
  • Bake for 20-23 minutes, then cool and enjoy.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle sea salt on top before baking.
