This flavorful chicken skillet combines tender breasts with a rich, creamy garlic sauce for a quick and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Cooking essentials

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • to taste N/A Salt and pepper (for seasoning)

Garnish

  • to taste N/A Fresh parsley, chopped

Optional

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions 

  • Pat chicken dry and season with salt and pepper.
  • Heat oil in skillet, sear chicken 6-7 mins per side, then set aside.
  • Melt butter, sauté garlic 1-2 mins, then add chicken broth and simmer 3 mins.
  • Stir in heavy cream, basil, oregano; cook 4-5 mins until thickened.
  • Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce, cook 2-3 mins, garnish with parsley, serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, add Parmesan cheese during the sauce simmering.
