Ingredients

Dry ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary

Wet ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 0.25 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  • Mix flour, baking powder, salt, thyme, and rosemary in a large bowl.
  • Fold in shredded cheese to coat in flour.
  • Whisk milk, eggs, and olive oil in a separate bowl.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients; stir until just mixed. Pour into pan and smooth top.
  • Bake for 45 minutes, cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
